Westminster Abbey
“Humanity, take a good look at yourself, inside, you’ve got heaven and earth, and all of creation. You’re a world ~ everything is hidden in you.”
– Hildegard of Bingen
Prepare your inner life for the Christmas season by joining us for this 2.5 days at the Westminster Abbey Monastery retreat in Mission BC on November 22nd to 24th, 2024.
As we begin to slow down for winter solstice, the monastic rhythm will engage your senses and invite you to discover more of who you are, beneath the psychological noise of stress and to-do lists you experience everyday. This sacred space will help you to explore the parts of you that need a rest, to escape from your everyday life for a little while as you nourish and re-connect to your depth of well-being you have already been designed to live from.
As you arrive on a Friday evening to begin your 2 night stay in the Abbey’s guesthouse, you will settle into a quieter rhythm, a time for silent reflection and introspection. Throughout your time here, you will connect with nature through the monastery’s beautiful surroundings and engage in conversations that will invite you into your core, a sacred place to align with so you can reawaken the beauty, love and joy that resides here.
